Wales Nature Week 2026:
‘In Your Neighbourhood'
In 2026, we wanted Wales Nature Week to feel relevant and accessible to everyone, wherever they live.
We introduced: ‘In Your Neighbourhood | Yn Eich Cynefin’ – a campaign theme designed to bring nature closer to home.
From parks and pavement cracks to gardens, schoolyards, coastlines and community spaces, we encouraged people across Wales to pause, look around and discover the nature already on their doorstep.

Wales Nature Week is an annual, Wales-wide celebration of nature, taking place every July.
For 2026, our challenge was to broaden its appeal and make taking part feel as easy as possible – whether that meant joining one of 100+ events across Wales or simply noticing what was growing, flying or buzzing nearby.
From campaign strategy and creative content to social media, paid advertising, PR and stakeholder engagement, we developed an integrated campaign designed to reach beyond established nature audiences and show that connecting with nature can start wherever you are.
