Carys joined Equinox in spring 2025, bringing with her a first-class BA Honours degree in Media, Journalism and Culture, in addition to valuable experience from two PR agency internships — including one with us!

Drawing on her academic background, Carys has developed a strong understanding of the Welsh media landscape, spanning social media, film and news. Her previous work in stakeholder relations within the planning sector has also sharpened her skills, positioning her as a confident communicator.

A proud Welsh speaker, Carys is passionate about using and promoting her mother tongue through her work. She’s equally enthusiastic about growing her strategic expertise, particularly in advising clients on how to position themselves in the spotlight, in alignment with the current news agenda.

Outside of work, Carys is a music lover who enjoys dancing — she's even taken up heels dance classes. As a self-confessed foodie, she’s also on a mission to discover and support as many independent eateries as possible!
